The statement below refers to our operating procedures following the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. We are currently planning how to operate upon reopening in 2021, continuing to keep our guests and team safe. Information on our operating plans for 2021 will be available soon.
We have implemented new policies for our guests and staff and altered our operations at Loch Bay following the Covid-19 pandemic.
We have reduced the number of tables in the restaurant to four with a minimum 2 metres between tables. We have identified that in order to keep our staff and guests as safe as possible it will not be suitable for us to take parties of any more than 2 people until further notice.
Front of house staff will wear a face mask or visor during service. Guests should wear masks when entering, leaving and moving through the premises.
We will be serving a set ‘Fruits de Mer’ menu a few evenings per week – Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Dinner will be served at 7pm with staggered arrival times to reduce the chance of close contact between guests.
All beverage service, food service and payment transactions will take place at the table.
Dining in the restaurant is only possible by advance reservation.
The number of staff on duty in the premises at any time is reduced.
Gel sanitiser is situated at the entrance to the restaurant and the guest toilet, as well as other strategic locations throughout the premises. We have strict cleaning regimes set in place for everyone’s increased safety.
We will constantly review and update our policies as necessary.
